The first ever RC Cola / MoonPie ASA Southeast Asphalt Tour race is in the books.  Preston Peltier will go down in history as the series' first winner, taking the checkered flag first in t he Bayou 100 at Mobile International Speedway (AL).  Michael Pope held off John Bolen for the runnerup spot.

Jeremey Mullinax puts his name in the record books as the first pole winner in the history of the of the RC Cola / MoonPie ASA Southeast Asphalt Tour.  With a time of 17.296, Mullinax, will lead them to the green with Preston Peltier rolling form the outside of the front row. 36 cars will take the green flag of the Bayou 100. It's a great day to make history! Today's running of the Bayou 100 will be the first ever RC Cola / MoonPie ASA Southeast Asphalt Tour event. Teams from Georgia, Florida, Alabama and all around the southeast have answered the call for the new Late Model Touring Series. At least 30 cars are on hand in the pits a Mobile International Speedway. Practice will get under way at 1:45pm CT. We will have more as the day unfolds.
